Kempen/Chambéry, June 26 – Peters has strengthened its presence in Southwest Europe this spring. With the opening of a sales office in France, Peters aims to boost its collaboration with business partners across the Southwest European region. Marie Kaing heads the French branch office; her area of expertise is conformal coating applications for automotive electronics and she will focus mainly on France, Spain and Portugal. The 45-year-old is an expert in her field: the French national holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of Sophia Antipolis in Nice.
Long-standing experience in the electronics industry
Marie Kaing has worked in the electronics industry for over 20 years at various chemical companies. There, she has gained experience in areas such as laboratory technology, sales and key account management.
She is therefore a specialist in coating materials within the electronics sector and is well-versed in both technical and sales roles. Being a sales specialist, her focus is on business development in the coatings sector, as well as on application and process troubleshooting, as it is important to support customers on their entire journey – from material selection/qualification phase through to the coating line industrialisation and validation phase.
Strategy of sustainable growth
“My vision for my new role as Sales Manager is to expand Peters’ business in my region and beyond, while simultaneously improving service levels, product quality and employee well-being,” she says. “With this philosophy, Marie is a very good fit for us. As part of the strategy of measured growth, the chemist will now play a key role in developing the Southwestern Europe region and strengthening Peters’ position there. Marie Kaing announces that she will be reaching out to potential business partners in France as early as mid-June via a webinar held in French language.
Strength for the job comes from her family
Marie Kaing is already fully immersed in the Peters world. Especially as interacting with people and engaging in business communication suits her nature. She says: “That’s what I enjoy most about my job.” She draws the strength for her challenging role on the sales front for Peters from her family, which includes two sons, as well as from her sporting hobbies, particularly cycling, running and swimming.
