As the world’s only full-range supplier of coating materials for the manufacture of PCBs and the protection of assembled printed circuit boards, we will be presenting our activities on this year’s PRODUCTRONICA in Munich at two stands of 55 square meters.

Stand A2.354

At stand A2.354, which is primarily aimed at visitors from EMS and OEM companies involved in assembly technology, we provide information about our ELPEGUARD conformal coatings and ELPECAST casting compounds that are available with all common resin bases for a wide range of requirements. Of particular note are:

Sharp Edge Protection (“SEP”)

In this campaign, we show different solutions for well covering sharp edges of components and pins by using conformal coatings and gels.

Ultra-thin coating ELPEGUARD® UTC 1507, synthetic rubber, featuring excellent crack resistance in the temperature range from -65 to 150 °C; UL 94 approved V-0; tested according to IPC-CC-830, best resistance class GX against harmful gases (ISA 71.04-2023).

ELPEGUARD® Twin-Cure® DSL 1602 FLZ/75

Solvent-free UV-LED curing ELPEGUARD® thick-film coating Twin-Cure® DSL 1602 FLZ/75 for use at temperatures ranging from -65 to 130 °C; drying within seconds even with modern LED lamps; also complies with the Chinese VOC standard GB 30981-2020 due to 100% solids content of the coating.

ELPEGUARD® SL 1800 FLZ – Acrylic resin-based conformal coating series for use at temperatures from -65 to at least 140 °C; holding outdoor approval (UL 746E), plus outgassing test (ASTM E595) and harmful gas test (BMW GS 95003-4) passed.

ELPEGUARD® UV Twin-Cure® DSL 1707 NV-FLZ

Solvent-free ELPEGUARD® thick-film coating UV Twin-Cure® DSL 1707 NV-FLZ on silicone basis for a temperature range from -65 to 200 °C, highly elastic and drying within seconds, also complying with the Chinese (VOC) standard GB 30981-2020 due to its 100% solids content.

ELPECAST® Wepuran VT 3402 KK-NV and Wepuran VT 3402 OPAL

Our ELPECAST® casting compounds Wepuran VT 3402 KK-NV and Wepuran VT 3402 OPAL, based on polyurethane resins and recently also UL F1 certified, suitable for temperatures between -65 and at least 90 °C, featuring excellent weather resistance, UV light stability and mechanical strength.
Ideally suited for LED lighting and advertising technology.

ELPEPCB® solder resist Elpejet® IJ 2467

ELPEPCB® solder resist Elpejet® IJ 2467 and legend inks for digital inkjet printing; proven in series production; in connection with the positive findings and ideas acquired by the s.mask initiative which is aimed at making EMS and OEM customers aware of this innovative application method with all its special features, and promoting it on the market.

ELPEPCB® heat sink pastes HSP 801 / HSP 801 S

The heat-conductive ELPEPCB® heat sink pastes HSP 801 and HSP 801 S ensuring a particularly smooth surface for optimum heat coupling, are applied with sharp contours using screen or stencil printing. Structures and layer thicknesses can be freely selected from a wide range.

This very cost-effective alternative to bonded metal heat sinks or thermal interface materials impresses with a thermal conductivity of 3 W/mK and excellent insulation properties.

Go beyond borders!

ELPEPCB® Via Filler PP 2794 TG150, which from early 2026 onward will be chosen by the well-known service provider Hofstetter in Herrenberg for processing on their new MASS VCP M+ 5000-1 system, filling via holes under vacuum. This paste – made in Germany – is available from stock at any time and features excellent thermo-mechanical properties, besides a shelf life of 6 months when stored between 4 and 8 °C.

Copies of the reference book in German “Beschichtungsstoffe für die Elektronik” (1329 pages in 2 volumes) can be viewed and ordered from both stands.

Here we also provide information about the wide range of ELPETEC services, including services by our laboratory, such as carrying out tests in our climate and temperature shock chambers (insulation resistance tests up to 1,250 volts and temperature changes from -70°C to 200°C).
