Rehm Thermal Systems GmbH has now trained Peters in the use of their high-tech ProtectoXC machine. At the Peters Coating Innovation Forum, attendants were already amazed about the benefits presented by this production unit when coating electronic assemblies. The developer and manufacturer Rehm provided Peters with one of their innovative coating and dispensing machine for the Kempen showroom.
‘We are grateful for this, because the permanent loan has two advantages for us: We can demonstrate the system to interested customers on site. Furthermore, it will enable our technical service team to set up the coating process perfectly in the future,’ says Detlef Paschke, Head of Technical Services at Peters Research.
Perfect for practitioners, technicians and researchers
‘It doesn’t get more practical than this,’ emphasises Gianfranco Sinistra. For a few days, the Director of Sales Dispensing & Coating at Rehm Thermal Systems has moved his office from Blaubeuren where Rehm is based, to Hooghe Weg 13 in Kempen for training purposes. The product sales representative has already given a presentation at the PCIF on the topic of automatic creation of dispensing and coating programmes. ‘Simple and efficient thanks to the knowledge from the machine,’ says the expert. Gianfranco Sinistra is convinced that the ProtectoXC and ProtectoXP guarantee future solutions for individual electronics production in Germany and that Peters, with their coatings, is exactly the right partner to highlight this expertise. ‘The machine offers the highest possible process reliability, error-free and intuitive all-in-one coating and dispensing, innovative nozzle technology, no unpleasant odours during the coating process and optimum process documentation.’ In addition, the production system’s compact design and smart software minimise maintenance requirements.
The machine is capable of Multitasking
All of this is an asset for customers to test their new developments on the Rehm machine at our site and to build up further trust in our coatings,’ reports Detlef Paschke. ‘The system not only impresses with its modern appearance, but the technical possibilities are also obvious,’ emphasises the 55-year-old from Willich, who has been working for Peters for 28 years. ‘Our customers are welcome to see the performance of the ProtectoXC for themselves in our showroom,’ says Peters Managing Director Ralf Schwartz, presenting the compact and powerful coating and dispensing system from southern Germany. ‘The permanent loan means a win-win situation for all parties involved, both coating and machine manufacturers, but especially for interested customers when it comes to the reliable protection of high-quality PCBs.’
